After assisting friends and family for over 20 years with many different painting ideas, Greta began painting full time with the opening of Painting By Witz. In 2004 Greta was introduced to Rebecca/Jennifer Designs. This school helped teach Greta why and how she was able to be an artist with paint. They also helped her with the knowledge on how to create a business out of her passion. Greta continues her education through IDAL(International Decorative Artisans Legue) & NTA( Northern Territory Artisans in MN) where she is introduced and taught by the best artists in the world and locally. IDAL & NTA keeps Greta up to date on the most current trends, products and business ideas.
In 2007 Greta's grandmother was surprised by the family to move into a retirment home. Greta learned that this type of change can cause great emotionaly stress for our knowledgable seasoned citizens. Greta has made it a mission to help calm/relax those clients who might be needing this type of life change by taking a picture of the clients favorite room and then as
closley as possible re-creating the room in the new living establishment. Sometimes a small change of color can make a life changing event go peacefully.

I hired Greta to do touchup and re-painting of my home before sale. She did an expert job with exterior and interior work on metalwork, walls and woodwork. She specialises in faux finishes and also did a fantastic re-faux finish on the ceiling of our basement bathroom. She is dedicated, timely, reasonable on price and meticulous in her workmanship.
